# Instagram: free post-clearing guide

You choose and remove posts in the platform, then check the result there. This guide cannot connect your account or verify removal. Saving a copy is optional.

In Instagram

1. Tap Profile → Menu → Your activity → Posts.
2. Filter by date, starting with last month.
3. Select the posts you choose, then tap Delete and confirm.

### Something to keep? Save a copy first

Choose the information and date range you want. To keep the original export files, select Export to device, download every ZIP part, and open important items. We have not checked Meta’s separate external-service option for the same files.
