Optional: get step-by-step help from an AI assistantCopy a prompt into Codex or an assistant you already use. Every guide works without AI.

Ask for help finding a control, understanding the current official Help, or saving a copy. The prompt asks for one step at a time. It does not give an assistant access to your account: you choose, remove, and check posts in the platform.

Agent skill instructions Guide only

For assistants that use skills. Read the file before adding it to an assistant. It gives free-guide instructions only; opening or copying it does not install a skill, connect an account, or authorize deletion.

Remote MCP guide Beta · read-only

For an assistant that accepts a remote MCP server. This returns the six public guides and Help links. Check the platform’s current Help before acting. The server cannot connect an account, find or remove posts, or store an export.

Add the guide to Codex

With Codex installed, run this in a terminal. It adds only the read-only guide tool; it cannot connect accounts or remove posts.

Run codex mcp list to check that it is configured. You can still use every guide here without Codex.

Keep a copy in your Drive or Dropbox

Upload every file and ZIP part the platform supplies. Check the upload and a downloaded file before clearing posts.

How to upload and check your copy
  1. Download the export. Keep every file and ZIP part the platform supplies. An export may omit older items.
  2. Upload every supplied file. Create a new empty folder in your Google Drive or Dropbox. Upload every ZIP part and loose file. If the export includes folders, use the provider’s website or desktop app on a computer to preserve their subfolders; mobile folder uploads are unverified.
  3. Wait for the upload. Check your provider’s upload or sync status and resolve any errors.
  4. Check the copy. Compare every supplied folder and subfolder path, filename, and file size with your download. Download and open an important saved file before clearing posts.

Keep your original download until you are satisfied with the copy.

This route does not connect your account to Delete My Social or Unburdened. Your provider can access files you upload; its account, space limits, and charges apply.
